Water BottleThe water bottle was pretty simple. The only thing that was different was the rotational jig in the laser. I had to use illustrator to create all these projects. I started out with a template that was 5.5 inches by 9 inches, that is why the photo to left is sideways. I had to do it this way since this is how the rotational jig would be able to print on it. The setup is a little different but not anything too complicated. Just have to make sure your water bottle is on center of the jig. The laser will have preset setting when the rotational jig is set up. Just double check and then press go. It was pretty simple to engrave it and went pretty quick.

Our next project was to make a note book. We had to engrave writing or something and cut out another thing. I engraved my name and cut out an octopus on my cover. It was very simple to cut out on the laser all I had to do was get it on the UCP and calibrate it. Then it took a couple of minutes to cut. I am happy with the way it turned out.

For this project we had to use card board and use the 2D platform to cut out and put together a 3D object. I made a turtle for mine which was pretty simple. I just had to calibrate the laser and tell it what it was cutting and press go, this was the simplest project out of all of them. The only challenging part was just converting the file to match with our lasers preferences. I had to change the lines of the file to red so the laser would cut.
